Adrienne is a research scientist with the Northern Institute of Applied Climate Science. She focuses on assisting land managers in understanding the benefits and trade-offs of different management options centered around climate change adaptation. Adrienne has a strong interest in synthesizing scientific research and translating relevant science for effective land management and decision-making. Adrienne’s research background is in terrestrial carbon and nutrient cycling, spanning tropical and temperate forests, grasslands, and agroecosystems. She completed a post-doc with the Nutrient Network and the Minneapolis-St. Paul Long Term Ecological Research program at the University of Minnesota and holds a PhD in Biology from Indiana University and a M.S. in Resource Conservation from the University of Montana.
